This traditional style theatre weapon is made with standard non electric epee blade with a hard wearing steel guard. The balance of the weapon is similar to the original and because of the weight at the forte of the blades makes a dramatic sound when used in staged combat. This beautiful European seventeenth century weapon has a sword length of 1.09 metres mm (43 inch). The highly polished, oil harden tempered carbon steel blade is diamond shaped 900 mm (35.5 inh) long and 25 mm (1inch) wide at the point were it meets the cross piece. The wooden handle is covered with twisted wire and finished with a dome cylindrical pommel. The quillions are diamond shape and measure 290 mm (11.5 inch) across. The distal side ring is flatted and a Pas d'Ana compliments the triple bar knuckle bow and further quillion mounted side ring. Blade length 900mm Width of blade at forte region 25 mm Weight 1.4 Kilos

The wooden handle is covered with leather and a single twisted wire and finished with a flutted solid cylindrical pommel. The quillions are round in cross-section and measure 250 mm (10 inch) across.
