Shipping & Handling

eCommerce Shipping
Our chosen shipping partners are UPS and Royal Mail Group Ltd.
The volume and weight of your order are automatically calculated at checkout, and the shipping charge is then applied based on your delivery destination. All orders ship from London, England.

Please note that we ONLY SHIP TO THE USA. For orders from any other country, please visit the Leon Paul global site at www.leonpaul.com. Leon Paul can ship to addresses in Puerto Rico; however, please note that all orders ship from London, ENGLAND, not from the mainland USA. Because of this, the cost of shipping is high, and we apologize for this unavoidable situation.

U.S. Customs Duties and Import Taxes
In accordance with U.S. import regulations effective August 29, 2025, the $800 de minimis threshold for duty-free imports has been suspended. Consequently, all orders shipped to the United States will be subject to customs duties.

To ensure a straightforward delivery experience, Leon Paul will calculate and pay all required customs duties on your behalf.
Duties have been incorporated into the cost of the item and will be displayed during checkout.
Duties are non-refundable on returned items. Customers are responsible for all applicable duties associated with exchanges.

Freight Forwarding
If a freight-forwarding service is used to ship items internationally, Leon Paul will not be responsible for damage, defects, material differences, or loss that occurs after the goods are delivered to you or the freight forwarder. Any orders that are shipped to third-party locations and are returned to Leon Paul, for any reason, will be charged a 25% restocking fee.

We reserve the right to cancel orders before they are shipped if the freight-forwarding business address is known to have been involved in fraudulent activity.

Damaged in Transit
If, for any reason, the package arrives damaged, please check the contents before you sign for it and refuse the package if anything is damaged or missing. Once you have refused the package, it will automatically be returned to Leon Paul, and we will be able to redeliver your order.
Once you sign for the package, you are agreeing that you have received it in good condition, and we are then unable to file a claim with the carrier. Leon Paul cannot take responsibility if part of a package is missing or damaged once it has been signed for by the customer.

Delivery Schedule

We endeavor to ship orders within 1 to 3 business days. Items that must be manufactured or customized to order can take up to three weeks to be completed before they are shipped.

Our business hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. This means orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will not ship until the following Monday at the earliest.

You will receive an email with your invoice notifying you when your order has shipped. This email will include tracking information where applicable. Once you have received your shipping notification email, your package will have been passed to one of our delivery partners. Customers who select DHL should expect to receive their package in 2 to 4 business days, depending on location, and those who select AirMail should expect to receive their package in 7 to 28 business days.

Disclaimer
Please be advised that Leon Paul USA is not responsible for any delays in the delivery of your order that are caused by the carrier. While we strive to ensure that your order is shipped promptly and securely, we cannot control or guarantee the performance of third-party carriers.

Once your order leaves our warehouse, it becomes the responsibility of the carrier to deliver it to you within the estimated time frame. Any potential delays due to carrier operations, weather conditions, customs clearance, or other unforeseen circumstances are beyond our control.

By placing an order with Leon Paul USA, you acknowledge and agree that we cannot be held liable for any delays or inconveniences caused by the carrier. We encourage you to contact the carrier directly with any questions or concerns regarding the shipping and handling of your order.

Payment Processing

Our global payment processing partner is Adyen. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. You will be charged at the time you place your order.

Leon Paul cannot be held responsible for any foreign transaction fees incurred.

Product Detail

The actual product may vary from the images shown on the website.

Guarantee

All of our products are guaranteed for 28 days against material and manufacturing defects; this does not cover items damaged by misuse. If a product fails outside this period and you consider it to be substandard, please contact us, and we will consider replacing it at no charge. We pride ourselves on the high quality of our equipment. If you feel that anything you receive is not up to the high standards you expect from Leon Paul, please contact us at sales@leonpaulusa.com, and we will be happy to assist.

Blades
Fencing blades are a consumable item. We will not replace broken blades unless you can provide evidence of a manufacturing defect. Bending a blade the wrong way or beyond 90 degrees constitutes misuse, can put a permanent kink in the blade, and is not covered by our warranty.

Shoes
When considering returning a pair of shoes, please note that many fencing shoes are designed to protect the area that is damaged when a fencer over-lunges and rolls the foot, causing the side or upper surface of the shoe to slide across the floor. These protective areas are designed to minimize damage from occasional, accidental overextended lunges. Repeated overextended lunges, in which the side or top of the shoe is dragged along the floor, will cause damage to the shoe that is not covered by the warranty.

Socks
For hygiene reasons, socks cannot be returned once they have been tried on.

Bags
When considering returning a bag, please note that, when in transit, the best way to ensure your bag is not damaged by airport baggage handlers is to remove the top bag and store it inside the main bag. It fits inside the smaller weapon compartment. If it does not fit once the bag is fully loaded, you are likely to be over the maximum weight for the bag, so it may be broken in transit, and you should check it as two separate bags. Leon Paul is not responsible for bags that are damaged through mistreatment. If an airline breaks your bag in transit, please file a claim with your travel insurance provider or the airline.

Lightweight Lame Jackets
Although lightweight lame jackets are machine washable, it is vital that no bleach is used, as this will oxidize the silver and stop it from conducting. Most modern laundry detergents contain bleach to help keep clothes whiter; we therefore recommend that you wash the lame only on a cold cycle, without detergent. If your lame is nonconductive or has developed high resistance all over, our extensive testing has shown that this is caused by washing with bleach. Clear washing instructions are provided both online and on the product care label. Leon Paul cannot be held responsible for damage caused by improper care of a garment.

Cancellations & Returns Policy

Your Rights
You have the right to fully cancel an order with us up to the time it enters the picking phase. After this point, please refer to the information below.

Goods may be returned for a refund or exchange within 28 days of receipt, provided that a copy of the receipt is included and the merchandise is unused and in its original condition and packaging. There are certain orders we will not cancel: orders that include any customized items. Please see below.

Customized Items
Customized items (including masks, bags, and garments) cannot be returned if ordered incorrectly. This includes, for example, a jacket that does not fit and has been customized with your name. In the event of a problem, please contact our Customer Service Team as soon as possible.
Only select customization if you are 100% sure that the garment will fit, for instance, if you have previously owned the same size in the same range from Leon Paul.

Leon Paul reserves the right to cancel and refund orders if a product is discontinued or it becomes impossible to obtain stock. While we make every effort to ensure prices on the website are accurate, Leon Paul reserves the right to cancel and refund an order if there has been a typographical error. Placing an order via the website does not constitute a legally binding contract to supply.

Weights & Measures

We do our best to ensure the weights and measurements of items are accurate; however, due to the nature of our production methods, slight variations are possible.
