Making a Purchase

If you are placing your first order with us, an account will be created for you at the same time, please review our Privacy Policy. You will be charged when you checkout.

Stock Notifications

Stock notifications are displayed on the product page after you have made your product choices and before you add the product to the cart.

In Stock
The item is available for purchase and can be shipped within our stated terms.

Out of Stock
The item is not available for purchase within a reasonable time frame.

Ordering an item that is currently on backorder ensures that you will be first in line for this item, it will be sent out to you as soon as it comes back into stock. You will be notified via a confirmation email once your order has been shipped. You will not need to contact customer support or do anything to follow up on the backordered item. 

Orders containing backordered items will ship once all items are in stock. Place orders for out of stock items separately as orders cannot be split.

The item will not be available for purchase now or in future. This will normally apply only to items within our clearance category.

Shipping & Handling

The volume and weight of your order is automatically calculated at checkout, and the shipping charge is then applied based on your delivery destination. All orders ship from London, England.

Please note that we ONLY SHIP TO THE USA, for orders from any other country please visit the Leon Paul global site at www.leonpaul.com. Leon Paul can ship to addresses in Puerto Rico, however, please note that all orders ship from London, ENGLAND, not from the mainland USA, because of this the cost of shipping is high, we apologize for this unavoidable situation.

Freight Forwarding
If a freight forwarding service is used to ship items internationally, Leon Paul will not be responsible for damage, defect, material difference, or loss that occurs to goods after they are delivered to you or the freight forwarder. Any orders that are shipped to third party locations and end up being returned to Leon Paul, for any reason, will be charged a 25% restocking fee.

We reserve the right to cancel orders before they are shipped, if the freight forwarding business address is known to have been involved in fraudulent activity.

Damaged in transit
If for any reason the package arrives damaged, please check the contents before you sign for it and refuse the parcel if anything is damaged or missing. Once you have refused the parcel it will automatically be returned to Leon Paul and we will be able to redeliver your order.
Once you sign for the item you are agreeing that you have received the package in good condition, and we are then unable to claim from the shipper. Leon Paul cannot take responsibility if part of a package is missing or damaged once it has been signed for by the customer.

Delivery Schedule

We endeavour to dispatch within 1 - 3 working days. Items that must be manufactured or customised to order and can take up to three weeks to be completed before they are shipped.

Our working hours are 8am – 5pm Monday to Friday. This means orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will not ship until the following Monday at the earliest.

You will be sent an email with your invoice notifying you when your order has been shipped. This email will include tracking information where applicable. Once you have received your dispatch notification email your parcel will have been passed to one of our delivery partners. Customers who select DHL should expect to receive their parcel in 2 - 4 working days depending on location and those who select AirMail should expect to see their parcel in 7 - 28 business days.

Please be advised that Leon Paul USA is not responsible for any delays in the delivery of your order that are caused by the carrier. While we strive to ensure that your order is shipped promptly and securely, we cannot control or guarantee the performance of third-party carriers.

Once your order leaves our warehouse, it becomes the responsibility of the carrier to deliver it to you within the estimated time frame. Any potential delays due to carrier operations, weather conditions, customs clearance, or other unforeseen circumstances are beyond our control.

By placing an order with Leon Paul USA, you acknowledge and agree that we cannot be held liable for any delays or inconveniences caused by the carrier. We encourage you to reach out to the carrier directly for any questions or concerns regarding the shipping and handling of your order.

Payment Processing

Our global payment processing partner is Adyen. We can process payments with VISA, Mastercard and with Apple and Google Pay. You will be charged at the time you place your order.

Leon Paul cannot be held responsible for any foreign transaction fees incurred.

All our products are guaranteed for 28 days against material and manufacturing defects; this does not cover items damaged by misuse. If a product fails outside this period and you consider it to be substandard, please contact us and we will consider replacing it at no charge. We pride ourselves on the high quality of our equipment and if you feel that anything you receive is not up to the high standards you expect from Leon Paul then please contact us at [email protected] to offer assistance.

Fencing blades are a consumable item. We will not replace broken blades unless you can provide evidence of a manufacturing defect. Bending a blade the wrong way or beyond 90 degrees constitutes misuse, can put a permanent kink in the blade and is not covered by our warranty.

When considering returning a pair of shoes please note that many fencing shoes are designed to protect the area which is damaged when a fencer over lunges and rolls the foot causing the side or upper surface of the shoe to slide across the floor. These protective areas are designed to minimise damage from occasional accidental overextended lunges. Repeated overextended lunges where the side or top of the shoe is dragged along the floor will cause damage to the shoe which is not covered by the warranty.

When considering returning a bag please note that when in transit the best way to ensure your bag does not get damaged by airport bag handlers is to take the top bag off and store it inside the bag. It fits inside the smaller weapon compartment. If it does not fit in the bag when you have fully loaded the likelihood is, you will be over the maximum weight for the bag so it may get broken in transit and you should check it as 2 separate bags. Leon Paul is not responsible for bags that are damaged by the bag being mistreated. If an airline does break your bag in transit, please claim on your travel insurance or from the airline.

Lightweight Lame Jackets
Although lightweight lame jackets are machine washable, it is vital that no bleach is used as this will oxidise the silver and stop it from conducting. Most modern washing powders contain bleach to help keep clothes whiter; we therefore recommend that you only wash the lame without soap powder on a cold cycle. If your lame is non-conductive or has developed high resistance all over, then through our extensive testing we can be sure this is due to washing with bleach. Clear washing instructions are provided both online and in the product care label. Leon Paul cannot be held responsible for damage caused by improper care of a garment.

Cancellations & Returns Policy

Your Rights
You have the right to fully cancel an order with us up to the time that it’s been collected by our delivery partners. After it has been shipped, please refer to the below information.

Goods may be returned for a refund or exchange within 28 days of receipt, provided that a copy of the receipt is included, the merchandise is unused, and in its original condition and packaging. There are certain orders we will not cancel; these are orders that include any customised items, please see below.

Customised Items
All customised items (including masks, bags and garments) cannot be returned if ordered incorrectly. For example, a jacket that does not fit and has been customised with your name. In the event of a problem, please contact our Customer Service Team as soon as possible.
Only select customisation if you are 100% sure that the garment will fit. For instance, if you have previously owned the same size of item in the same range from Leon Paul.

Leon Paul reserves the right to cancel and refund orders if a product is discontinued or it becomes impossible to obtain stock. Whilst we make every effort to ensure prices on the website are accurate. Leon Paul reserves the right to cancel and refund an order if there has been a typographical error. Placing an order via the website does not constitute a legally binding contract to supply.

Weight & Measures

We do our best to ensure weights and measurements of items are accurate, however due the nature of the production methods, slight variation is possible.
